Wedding Photography from an Award Winning Contemporary Wedding Photographer
The Photographer:
Ian started taking photographs as a hobby in 1984, shooting mainly black and white landscapes and portraits. In 2002 he left his job of 17 years to start up as a full time wedding and portrait photographer.
Within the first year he had qualified with both the Master Photographers Association [MPA] and the British Institute of Professional Photographers [BIPP] and a year later was voted Most Promising Photographer by the MPA also winning the overall "Reportage Wedding Photographer" award.
This success has justified Ian's move to professional
photography and he feels very fortunate that he now makes his living taking photographs,
something he loves so much.
The Photography:
The shift to a more contemporary style of Wedding Photography has allowed the photographer to express a more relaxed and artistic feel to their images, although this can still be mixed with a more traditional style to keep everyone happy.
Ian builds on a traditional base to produce images with a modern twist. Using a combination of colour and black and white and concentrating on the people rather than the surroundings, he uses his portrait style of photography to create simple but beautiful images.

The Booking:
If you would like to find out more about Ian's services, you can fill in the wedding photography enquiry form and he will send you a brochure and sample images.
If you prefer, you can give him a call and he will invite you down for a coffee and a chat, this will give you a chance to tell him what you are looking for and of any particular requirements you may have. Every wedding is different and you will find he is very flexible in fitting in with your plans for your big day.
Ian realises that clients coming along to these meetings are probably going to view a selection of other photographers work, so there is no expectation of a booking at this meeting. Ian will supply you with the relevant paperwork and keep your date safe for seven days from the date of this meeting. If during this seven day period you decide you want to make a booking with Ian, just give him a call to confirm the date and you can then send the paperwork in at your leisure.
