Glamour and Fashion Photography and Portfolio Work

I would advise that this be treated as a fun session that will give you some
really nice model style pictures and not as a way of getting into modelling.
Most agencies only require that you send a couple of shots (head and shoulders and full length). These do not have to be professionally taken and should not involve you spending lots of money.
You do not need to pay for a portfolio of pictures to approach an agency, your portfolio will be built over a period of time working with various photographers.
I would not want anyone to buy a portfolio of prints from me in the hope of getting work from an agency only to be disappointed, so if you approach the session as a way of getting some nice shots for yourself then you will enjoy it all the more. If, when you see the images, you think you may want to send a couple to an agency, I will include a couple of smaller prints in your order to do this at no charge.
The Photo Session:
This style of photography is for you if you want a "model- type" shoot.
The session can take up to three hours and gives you plenty of time to change outfits to achieve different looks. I will take a large selection of colour and black and white images, using various lighting techniques to make the most of your features.
I do not have a make up artist, but would suggest that if you want to make the most of the sitting, you have your make up done professionally or at least bring along a friend who can help you with it.
If you are planning
to do some modelling in the future and are looking to submit images to an agency,
this can be a cost effective way of obtaining a few prints without the expense
of having to buy a portfolio of prints.
The session costs £45.00 and to make the most of your time I suggest that the night before you have an early night and show up wide awake and ready for an enjoyable three hours.
The Viewing:
Two weeks after the session you will be invited back to my studio to view
the finished images. The images will be shown in a slide show format, via a digital
projector or if you prefer on our large monitor.
If requested, they can also be uploaded to this site for a set period of time, you will be given a password that will allow you to gain access to them and only people with the password will be able to view them.
Additional Photographs:
I can offer you the same framed prints that are offered to my Portrait clients, also you can purchase loose prints as your needs will be different in that you may want prints to start a portfolio.
There is no set minimum to the number of prints you purchase, so you can buy as few or as many as you need to suit your requirements and budget. Individual prints start at £25.00.
